Book Bat - Potion 1, a witching draught of warm apothecary orange settling into dusky violet, as though two rather incompatible ingredients have finally agreed to share the same bottle.
A little ray of darkness from the city of stories. Norwich the UNESCO city of literature, inspiring and birthing authors, writers, storytellers throughout the ages… And the home of the Norwich Book Bat. She can be found haunting libraries, bookshops or any dusty bookshelf.
Colour: Orange & Violet
Talisman: creativity, transformation and finding harmony between unlikely things.
9.5cm tall
Each one is individually hand-cast and finished as part of this small batch.
The Book Bat you receive will be similar to those shown in the group photograph. While they share the same form and finish, subtle differences in tone, markings, and character make every piece slightly unique.
Each order is selected at random when packed. You won’t be able to choose a specific Book Bat — part of the pleasure is not knowing exactly which one will make its way to you.
